Most of my free time is spent with bikes - if I'm not riding one or wrenching, I'm thinking about them. I volunteer once a week at the Bikerowave Co-Op as a Head Mechanic. This page includes a few of the bikes I ride these days. If its not abundantly evident, I'm a big retro bike nerd.

1997 Ibis Hakkalugi

My favorite bike, it can tackle pretty much anything I encounter on a regular LA ride. Triple butted steel, tubeless tires, and 28 spoke wheels converge into a very plush ride - plus its light (frame & fork < 4lbs!) and can fit 700 x 42s! My only complaint is the lack of mounting points on this particular model, but I plan on getting some brazed on in the future.

1994 Bianchi Cross-Project USA

This cyclocross bike was originally raced by my uncle, with the scars to prove it. Its a little too similar to my Hakkalugi, so I'm converting it to a townie with some Nitto Albatross bars on it whenever I get some time.
