This page includes builds I have designed, primarily as a Designer & Drafter for 11th St. Workshop, a fabrication house serving LA's entertainment industry. Before I begin sketching, I consider the client vision, budget, and timeline. Once my 3D-modeled design is approved, every part and sub-assembly is broken down into blueprints and handed off to fabricators.
Some of my more hands-on work (personal & professional) can be found here.
Multiple assemblies for Revolve Festival and their sponsors.
The 15' wide UFO continues to be a favorite, as I designed it exactly as I was reading Stephen King's The Tommyknockers, in which a town is driven mad by an enormous, buried UFO. It traveled as several ply pie slices clad in layered 4" EPS foam, joined from the back.
The job was rounded out by several sponsor builds, including an over-engineered swingset (3" bent steel tube IIRC), a collapsable PATH Water ping-pong table, and a custom-windmill for Kendall Jenner's tequila company.
Bulb arrays & staircases.
A good example of a job with very simple elements that add up to something visually spectacular - the props belong to the electrical team here. I designed the walls, bars, DJ booth, stage cladding, staircases & railings.Trophy display & plinth.
A display case and performance prop, this design had to accomplish a lot at once. In addition to being backlit, battery-powered and remote activated, it needed to be lightweight enough to dance with, yet durable enough to survive a possible fall during reherasal. The assembly comes apart into three pieces, without any visible hardware, during the performance.
The day of the event itself, they decided to cut the choreography involving the plinth - go figure.
A recording of the event can be watched here.
Multiple builds, interior & exterior.
"While Barbie is away, Ken is listing his room in her iconic Malibu DreamHouse on Airbnb and bringing Barbie’s all-pink world back by popular demand." - Airbnb Press Release
Notably, I'm proud of the armoire, because how often do you get to redesign a 1:12 doll-scale toy for real use? Designed in three parts, it was installed in the Barbie Malibu dream house for three weekends for influencers to tour and promote the film. I also designed the water slide to match the film's as close as possible while fitting into the existing landscape.
I also worked on the walk-in disco ball and miniture of Barbie's home for the world premier. Luckily it was a dead simple set - each floor is composed of layered 3/4" MDF with CNC'd reliefs that provide clearance for bolts that capture the steel support rods. All parts finished with a very high gloss Barbie-pink.
Bars, photo moments, walls, headers, ceilings, channel lit & push-thru logos, archways, etc.
A good example of a daily challenge - how do you design for and interface with a temporary, two-story event structure that you can't measure or reference?
Knowing from experience that the vendor's drawing of the building would be inaccurate, I had to design a modular cladding system that was easily expanded or cut down on-site. Each bar, flat, television, ceiling, and ADA-compliant ramp relied on these parts fitting together and around existing infrastructure. In the end, we were right to be cautious - a surprise second staircase was added to the structure that we managed to work around thanks to the modular system.

This one is worth bringing up solely because the theme of this year's Coachella/American Express experience was 'DELULU EVOLULU', and is the silliest thing I've read in a client deck to date. Other than that, this was another year of cladding every square inch of an existing structure with as much mirror lmainate, translucent acrylic and fur that the client could afford.

A much more stripped-down American Express/Coachella experience, the theme of high-end garage/record store was a departure from previous year's maximalism.
Collapsable kiosks with integrated lighting, sound & storage.
These kiosks traveled across the world and appeared at every 2024 (and possibly 2025) Formula 1 event to hand out small radios broadcasting the race. Highly modular and easy to travel, they've gone through several refurbs and revisions as client needs changed from race-to-race.

While I designed every build in this assembly, the only one pointing out is that marquee sign in the upper left of the first photo - I just think it turned out quite well.
Bedframe constructed from brass tubes, photopolymer resin couplings.
An exercise in imitation, I was given reference photos of a French bed used in previous Chanel events/photoshoots, and told to replicate it as close as possible. All fittings were SLS-printed in two parts, and mate with steel dowel pins around brass tubes.
Dugout photo moment, multiple bars/shelving units, and main entrance archway
This job will stand in for the tens of tambour-clad bars, LED-lined archways, and baseball themed photo-ops I've designed for Capital One & MLB.
Finished plywood standalone closet.
Stained ply closet for Milli Point Two's Los Angeles flagship store opening - simple 3/4" construction and standard hardware.
Arches, walls, ceilings, and mirror-stand.
Photoshoot set designed to imitate the evil queen's lair from the 2025 film. Not shown: ballasted 7" x 3" steel tube frame to hold up that enormous, Disney Imagineer-designed Magic Mirror. Later used for the Bachelor in a nice bit of Disney/ABC cross-promotion.
Book wall & headphone photo op.
Bent & welded square steel tube headphones for a Spotify event promoting their exclusive audiobooks with 'book-tok' influencers and the like.
